Is it necessary to pay thousands of dollars to improve my water?

Many home water treatment systems are sold by high pressure commissioned sales people. At Water Tec we have no commissioned employees. Our customer service estimators will come to your home to find out your needs and provide you with a detailed solution usually saving thousands over comparable equipment.

Am I better serviced if I go with a national brand?

In most cases Water Tec equipment is more appropriate for your needs. Water Tec equipment is manufactured locally and custom built for our local water conditions. Water Tec uses USA made controls manufactured by industry leaders Clack Corp. and Pentair. National brands tend to use “proprietary” components which will provide customers with limited choices and higher prices for the life of the equipment.

How does Water Tec compare to the “Big Box” stores?

Since Water Tec manufactures all of its equipment, has no commissioned sales people, and does its own installation using its own licensed, bonded and insured in house installers our pricing is competitive with the “Big Box” stores. Since we service and install what we manufacture you don’t have to worry about buying equipment and then arranging for installation by a “third party”. This also is convenient for when you need service since you only have one company to deal with.

I don’t have time to maintain a system at my home?

A majority of our customers are set up on an in home service program. Since Water Tec has installed thousands of units over its nearly 50 years in business we are in nearly every neighborhood. Due to these efficiencies it usually costs less than $50.00 per year for Water Tec to maintain your equipment.

What is the average life of a Water Tec system?

Water Tec systems usually last 20-25 years. During that time a system like any good appliance will require a service every 6-8 years. When a unit is serviced it usually requires the replacement of “normal wear” type items. This service every 6-8 year including labor, parts and tax is usually $120.-$150.

What types of systems does Water Tec offer?

Since Water Tec is a manufacturer of products we can provide customers with the best equipment for their needs. We manufacture drinking water systems, whole home systems, water conditioners, water softeners, and salt/potassium free systems. Since our staff has over 200 years of water treatment experience we are a terrific partner for customers that have special needs or problem trouble well water. We do in house water testing and also use the resources of National Testing Laboratories Ltd.

Does Water Tec do both residential and commercial sales, service and installation?

Water Tec does provide all of its services to both residential and commercial customers.
